Adviser Services Consultant

At SimplyBiz, our customer base is growing, and we are looking for an Adviser Services Consultant to help us continue to provide exceptional support to the member firms who are currently using one-or-more of our support packages.
We are looking for an individual who has a genuine love of customer service and technology, who is an innovative and dynamic thinker with a great attitude and work ethic. In this role, you'll be driving strategic growth for our software products, MyLearning and MyMarketing, which will involve working closely with our partners and effectively managing these key relationships to strengthen propositions.

Due to the nature of the role, we are seeking someone with a good level of technical knowledge and experience in Financial Services or a related industry.
What you’ll do
- Take the lead on the strategic growth of the two products, including identifying new revenue streams
- Manage & enhance the company's relationship with external software parties
- Creating and implementing improvement plans for the software
- Complete regular reporting on revenue
- Work to license growth, lead generation and training income targets set by senior management
- Manage the business area, and collaborate with other areas of the department
- Be a people manager of the team and complete performance reviews
What you'll need
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a good telephone manner, with both members and internal departments
- Great customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport, actively listen and interpret, understand needs and negotiate
- The ability to speak and present to groups, both in-house and to members
- The ability to manage a reporting line, completing periodic performance reviews
- A passion for training, developing, coaching and mentoring others
- To be an innovative and creative thinker with the ability to generate ideas and be a visionary.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines, take ownership and accountability for your own area, working to the teams' daily rota
- Eagerness to learn and understand the company vision, as well as developing industry and competitor awareness
- A good level of IT literacy including Microsoft 365 software, and ability to deliver effective web meetings and training sessions on an ad-hoc basis
- Be a keen problem-solver with a positive, proactive approach to research, investigation and decision-making
- Able to recognise the need for change and the impacts at an individual and team level, plus the ability to communicate requirements for change, maintain ongoing communications on implementation and delivery and work with staff to understand any issues and implement appropriate support
- Willingness to stay abreast of industry technology, knowledge and products in the marketplace to offer up-to-date support to advisers and communicate this effectively with the team
- The ability to work under pressure and to specific targets
- Be a natural team-player, with the flexibility to adjust to the needs of the team
- Willingness to work towards RO1 and RO2 or equivalent qualifications
