The Role:
As our Marketing Assistant, you will support the Marketing Leads and team in moving our campaigns forward in the most efficient and effective way.
- Support Marketing Leads in moving the campaigns forward in the most efficient and effective way.
- Prioritise & coordinate between multiple projects simultaneously.
- Co-own the individual campaign project plans, assign tasks and keep track of all processes that will bring your campaign to life (aligning copywriting, assets production, event execution, regional roll-out).
- Resource-manage tasks related to your campaigns and keep track of team members’ workload.
- Always be on top of the latest information and be ready to answer questions from various stakeholders.
- Be the guardian of the campaign timeline - plan realistically, push for deadlines, and communicate them loudly.
- Keep track of needs and deliverables for the full marketing channel mix per campaign.
- Keep track of the campaign budget.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, take notes and distribute and follow up on actions.
- Depending on scope and content of a campaign and overall Marketing roadmap, support the Global Marketing Lead on talent scouting, influencer marketing, event/pop-up preparation and join photoshoots.
- To manage all aspects of our central asset library, the Marketing Suite, ensuring that all existing content is up to date and any new content is efficiently uploaded into the suite
- Support the creation and management of annual marketing activity calendar
- Management of all mobile app updates and central push notifications
- To continually benchmark our brands activity vs. our competitive set (and the wider market) and feedback to the business on a monthly basis
- Responding to Trustpilot reviews daily in line with guidance provided
- Management of member referral fulfilment via 3rd party integrated platform, Mention Me
- Supporting invoice tracking for the marketing budget
- Ad-hoc support to marketing campaigns, gym launches and wider marketing projects

Knowledge

Essential:

- Solid understanding of using IT systems i.e. Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of social media channels and how to utilise for business uses
- Demonstrates a keen eye for detail and design
- Shows a keen interest and passion for marketing practices and processes, with a strong desire to develop a careers within marketing

Desired:

- Marketing mix: demonstrates a good understanding of multi-channel marketing and the platforms associated to each i.e. digital marketing, offline/traditional marketing, events marketing etc
- Data: ability to collect and collate data into spreadsheets for top level reporting
- Trends: ability to continually monitor latest market and brand trends

Experience

Essential
- Experience in delivering administrative marketing tasks
- Experience of working within project teams and taking responsibility of assigned tasks

Desired
- Conducting research; competitor benchmarking, market and member insight
- Experience of updating websites via CMS platforms
- A personal interest in or affinity to the leisure/fitness sector
