**Job Title**: MO11 - Warehouse Supervisor

**Salary**: £28,511 to £30,504 plus a Location allowance of £1,721. You will receive £28,511 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £30,504 will be via incremental progression.

**Location**: Other - Belvedere Warehouse

**Job Purpose**
- ** Monitoring staff** - attendance (including annual leave) and staff development. Monitoring and updating the annual leave spreadsheet. The set KPI’s for retention, disposal and sorting of consumables
- ** Tasking **- daily tasking of the Warehouse Support Team. Making sure all activities are completed correctly by the end of the day. Supporting the team with questions to ensure processes are completed properly.
- ** Receiving Exhibits, confirm destination, Check connect entries are correct**:

- Overseeing and processing the receipt of exhibits and confirm that they are for either storage or disposal including high risk and high value exhibits, they are then put into the correct work stream. Interrogating other data bases to ensure correct information, record and escalate problems. Data must be accurate so exhibits can be found. Monitor disposal dates on Volume Crime
- ** Book and supervise audits - Supervisors** will download data sets and complete audits as required, they must have an understanding of what they are auditing and what the destination is for the exhibit.
- ** Liaise with lab and other interested parties - They** will have a rounded knowledge of the exhibits or the ability to gain such knowledge they are referring to and be able to check data bases to back up decisions.
- ** Engagement with officers and LDSS staff - Discussing** issues and long-term retention, collections/drop offs. The supervisors will have an understanding of the distribution process to assist these queries

Essential For The Role, e.g. qualifications, licenses, languages, training

**Essential Criteria**
- Previous experience in warehousing and transport logistics
- An excellent working knowledge of Criminal Exhibits and the policies surrounding their management or the ability to gain this knowledge
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good organisation skills as well as attention to detail
- The ability to implement new processes to support continuous improvement
- Excellent IT skills
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Flexible approach to work
- Ability to prioritise daily tasks in accordance with demand
- Ability to work as part of a team or alone
- Ability to be proactive and self-motivated
- Ability to monitor workloads and outputs

**Desirable Criteria**
- Knowledge of the MPS Property and Exhibits and Transport Services Policy
- Knowledge of MPS exhibit Tracking
- Driver’s license
- A general geographical knowledge of London and the Home Counties
