My client is a large secondary school in Sydenham and they require a temporary Medical Administrator to work 35 hours per week.

**First Aid Duties**

1. Administer first aid to students and staff as required
2. Organise transport to hospital and accompany the injured individual as appropriate
3. Liaise with parent/guardian of sick/injured students
4. Maintain the first aid register of students’ visits to the Medical Room
5. Ensure the completion of accident forms and the necessary paper work including the CS2 Form as per school procedures. Forward relevant paperwork to the Health and Safety Executive as necessary. Liaise with Facilities Manager regarding accident risk assessmentsand Health and Safety regulations
6. Liaise with the school nurse (based off site) in the preparation of emergency boxes including Student Care Plans for students with medical conditions
7. Maintain medication in student emergency boxes ensuring they are kept meticulously and within expiry date
8. Support the school nurse team during student vaccinations. Distribute parental information and consent forms. Collect and collate completed parental consent forms on behalf of the school nurse team. Supervise students for the effective running of the administrationof vaccines and immunisations
9. Maintain stocks of first aid and sanitary supplies for the school
10. Ensure first aid boxes around the school are fully stocked
11. Maintain the first aiders’ register, arrange first aid training for staff as and when required to ensure a continuation of qualification
12. Keep student records updated with medical notes, reports and welfare entitlements
13. To work with students and parents of students with health needs - support to ensure appropriate attendance at lessons and continuance of learning.

**Responsibilities**:
