Position: Contractor Coordinator

Company: Ground Up Property Services

Location: Office-based, reporting to the Operations Manager

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Role Overview:
As a Contractor Coordinator at Ground Up Property Services, you will play a key role in managing contractors, sourcing new contractors, and expanding our existing contractor database. Your responsibilities will include receiving works orders, uploading jobs onto the system, and negotiating rates and costings with subcontractors. This pivotal role is office-based and reports directly to our Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Book in maintenance jobs with subcontractors and ensure timely completion.

Ensuring contractor compliance at all times.

Source and evaluate new subcontractors, expanding the existing contractor database.

Receive and process works orders, accurately uploading job details onto the system.

Collaborate with subcontractors to agree on rates and costings for various projects.

Understand subcontractor trades and expand with the team subcontractor offerings

Looking at cross selling opportunities between Ground up Property Services and subcontractors

Liaise with the team to provide regular updates on job booking in status.

Maintain accurate records of subcontractor details, agreements, and project outcomes.

Handle any issues or concerns that may arise during project execution, fostering positive subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the maintenance or property management industry.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in using computer systems and project management tools.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Proactive problem-solving mindset.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
