**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced labourer to join our friendly team working on varied building and landscaping projects across Cumbria. You must be capable of producing a consistently high standard of work, with attention to detail and a right first-time approach. A cooperative attitude to teamwork is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to take-up an important role in a growing construction business. The right individual will have the opportunity to develop their skills and progress their career within the business.
**Duties**
You will support the efficient working of tradespersons by carrying out the following tasks(not exhaustive):
- Movement of materials and equipment to site and on site as required.
- Mixing of mortars, renders and plasters.
- Assisting with the erection and dismantling of scaffolding and shoring up.
- Maintaining sites in a functional, tidy and clean condition.
- Maintaining plant, equipment, tools and vehicles in a functional, tidy and clean condition.
**Requirements and Skills**
- Punctuality, reliability and professionalism in your approach to work.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Be able to diligently carry out instructions.
- A minimum of 2 years on the job experience.
- Proficiency in a broad range of tasks e.g. builders labourer, basic mechanical maintenance.
- Physical fitness to carry out manual work throughout the day.
- Comfortable working at height.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements on building sites and yards. CSCS card desirable.
- A full, clean driving licence.
Pay: £9.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
