**£12 per hour, rate negotiable dependent on experience - Part-time**

Location: Ipswich and surrounding areas - applicants must be UK based

We are seeking to recruit experienced Bank Imaging Chaperones to join the dedicated team here at Managed Healthcare Services Limited. This an exciting opportunity to further develop core skills and consolidate previous experiences gained, working with a respected independent sector healthcare services provider.

You will predominantly be based in Ultrasound providing support to our small team of Sonographers and chaperoning patients, adding to their clinical excellence in care and helping to maintain patient dignity and comfort throughout their journey in the Department. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Our Imaging Chaperones will have an induction prior to their first shift and will have the opportunity to be trained on the following skills:

- Radiography services support
- Sonography services support

You will be working in a fast-paced environment amongst a large multidisciplinary team with the support of senior staff.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Previous NHS experience within a UK hospital
- English and Maths qualification GCSE or Functional Skills Level-1
- Experience of working with people in a clinical setting
- Desire to deliver compassionate hands-on care in the hospital environment.
- Previous clinical chaperone experience

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: Up to £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- NHS: 1 year (required)
- clinical chaperone: 1 year (preferred)
