Senior Surveyor

Overview:
Bruton Knowles specialist Utilities & Infrastructure team works with a range of clients in the Electricity, Gas, Water, Road and Rail sectors. We undertake the Acquisition of Land/Rights in Land and carry out Compulsory Purchase and Compensation work for clients, including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.

This is a leading role within our new Utilities & Infrastructure team, delivering a range of projects for key clients across the UK.

The role is full-time covering work in the Cumbria region, homeworking is the norm with access to our offices as required.

Qualifications:

- An experienced Chartered Surveyor at or aspripring to an Associate level, preferably with a rural property or utilities background
- Proven track record of delivering Utilities and/or Transportation projects
- Well organised, with a high level of attention to detail
- An effective communicator and manager, with good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and commercially aware

**Responsibilities**:
You will possess strong project management skills and be capable of managing and delivering a large infrastructure project for a key client as well as handling a client portfolio of smaller schemes, always striving to exceed our client’s expectations.

Our project teams provide a wide range of land rights services to clients, supporting infrastructure projects from design phase, during implementation and through to completion. You will work with a team of specialists, engaging with key stakeholders on projects, including clients, contractors, landowners and their agents. As a senior member of the U&I team, you will help us to take forward our ambitious plans to develop our business in this expanding sector as well as mentoring and developing other members of the team.
