We are currently looking for a part time Doggy Daycare Assistant to join our dynamic team.

**So what will you be doing as a part time Doggy Daycare Assistant?**

The Doggy Daycare Assistant’s purpose is to ensure that the upmost professional care is given to all dogs whilst assisting with the operational tasks.

This is a varied role and you will be getting involved in everything from training the dogs, having cuddles and ensuring the well being of our clients dogs. Other responsibilities will also include, but not limited to:

- Daily care of a small group of dogs including play, training, communication, feeding, cleaning and washing dogs.
- Maintaining relationships of clients and also supporting communication between clients and dogs.
- The picking up and dropping off of dogs to and from doggy daycare (using the Company van) when other team members are on holiday or off sick
- Daily delegated tasks such as supporting with stock takes, light maintenance of facilities, safety audits and ensuring vans are safe and comfortable for our dogs.
- learning and developing your skills with how to communicate and manage dogs effectively
- Home boarding (Additional pay for for boarding which can either be in the clients home or your own)
- Opportunities to grow and develop within the company
- Regular mandatory training as well as dog specific courses which could benefit your role in DogStroll

If you have the following experience and qualities, this could be your next role:

- Excellent communication skills (with humans as well as dogs)
- Must be comfortable around dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Enjoys being in the company of dogs and able to demonstrate a passion for dogs
- Cares and has patients with dogs of all personalities
- Willing to work outdoors in all weathers
- Be reliable, punctual and polite
- The ability to organise and prioritise as part of a team
- A clean full UK driving licence
- Live in the vicinity of one of our routes which include: Putney, Southfields, Earlsfield, Tooting, South Wimbledon, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, New Malden, Wandsworth, Roehampton, Merton
- be a minimum of 25yrs old due to insurance regulations
- be able to have dogs stay in your home or stay at clients homes

You don’t necessarily have to have worked in a professional dog caring role previously, you just need a passion for dogs and we will be able to support you with the relevant training.

**Our working day hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4.00pm**

**As a part-time employee you will be contracted for 3x days per week, however there will be additional hours available to cover sick and holiday leave. In additional to contracted hours all staff need to be able to have the facilities to board dogs at home or stay at clients homes on occasions, which can include weekends which will be extra pay**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £13,560.00-£25,203.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 - 37.5 per week
