**overview**:
as **designer and product developer**, you will be managing the design and development side of the business, working directly and in collaboration with the CEO, therefore it's essential the you have experience with managing senior stakeholders.

**role responsibilities**:

- trend forecasting.
- attending fashion weeks, trade and fabric shows, alongside visiting key stores and cities, to ensure you’re at the forefront of trends and industry developments.
- design, development and range planning of all seasonal and non-seasonal ranges (including accessories).
- ownership and responsibility for product critical paths. from concept, sampling, development, delivery, through to release.
- developing product tech packs to brief suppliers and factories.
- management of all sample fittings, building out feedback and direction for suppliers. building our product sales packs, to support the sales, marketing and content teams.
- measurement of performance across the product portfolio, looking at growth and development opportunities for the product and business.
- working alongside retail partners.
- working on partner collaborations and exclusive designs.
- must currently hold a role as a designer, with an experienced background in menswear (with a minimum of 5 years’ experience) and a strong knowledge of contemporary and streetwear.
- must be experienced and skilled in adobe suite, specifically photoshop and illustrator.
- confident at presenting and delivering your ideas to the ceo and wider team.
- experience in working with external partners (including stockists and suppliers) confident in attending meetings and representing the mki brand.
- able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively and owning deliverables end-to-end.

**key information**
- the role is based full-time, at our headquarters in Bingley, West Yorkshire, Monday - Friday (please note, this is not suitable for remote or freelancer workers)
