**Salary: £26-28k, 37.5 hours**

**This is not a term time only appointment**

**Duties**
- To manage the day to day operation of the Academy Library.
- To produce a Strategic Plan on an annual basis for the Library.
- To identify and order the Library resources in association with Heads of Subjects within the Academy.
- To maintain discipline within the Library.
- To provide support to students working on computers in the Library.
- To maintain the Library Catalogue and provide appropriate training and support.
- To support with reading initiatives in liaison with the English department.
- To catalogue all information sources within the Academy and manage the Satellite Library provision to Areas of Experience on a modular basis.
- To be responsible for resource security.
- Produce and distribute the weekly Briefing Sheet under the direction of the Deputy Head
- To provide the Pastoral DHM for Year 11 and Sixth Form with administration support for the Summer Balls.
- To be responsible for the organisation of the Summer Whole School Achievement Evening.
- To identify appropriate software in association with the Deputy Head (IT) and Heads of Sections.
- To produce a Library guide and information leaflets to support staff and students using the Library.
- To supervise two Session 3 Homework Clubs in the Library each week
- To assist with the evaluation of questionnaires and feedback from the Parent Questionnaire.
- Production of the Academy’s annual Retrospect publication and Sixth Form Prospectus.
- To administer the A level results days under direction from the Deputy Head.
- To provide administrative support to the Director of Industrial Links and Careers Guidance.
- To comply with Sandwell Academy’s Corporate Dress Policy.
- To carry out other reasonable tasks from time to time as directed by the Head.
- To work in accordance with the Academy’s safeguarding policy
