Equipment Provided:

- Van
- Splicer/tester
- Fuel card

**Duties**:

- Perform cable splicing and termination for various types of cabling systems.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to rig and secure cables.
- Operate a bucket truck for accessing elevated work areas - (preferred but not essential.)
- Use electrical tools and equipment to complete splicing tasks.
- Climb utility poles or other structures as needed.
- Conduct utility locating to identify cable pathways.
- Operate bucket truck and other heavy equipment for cable installation and maintenance.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in cable splicing on Virgin Media networks or similar.
- Familiarity with mechanical principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in operating a bucket truck and other heavy equipment. - (Preferred but not essential.)
- Knowledge of electrical systems and tools used in splicing work.
- Ability to climb utility poles or structures safely and efficiently.
- Ability to read schematic drawings (maps/FAS etc.)

**Salary**: £180.00-£200.00 per day

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
