**Job Title: Warehouse operative**

**Location**: Redditch

**Weekly working hours: 40**
**Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm with a view to working 6am-3pm.**

**Contract type**: **Perm**

**Responsible to: Operations Manager**
To carry out production & warehouse activities following all relevant Company policies & procedures.

**Key Tasks / Responsibilities**:

- Follow instructions given from Manager/Supervisor to produce/pick and pack/palletise product into appropriate packaging in line with customer requirements.
- Operating production machine with training provided.
- Supporting operation MHE when required with training provided.
- Ensure customer products are handled carefully and in line with training provided.
- Follow “clean as you go” policy ensuring housekeeping is kept to the required standard.
- Report any Health and Safety issues to Line Manager/Supervisor.
- Ensure personal compliance with PPE and personal & food hygiene standards.
- Support the Coolways management team and your colleagues.
- Loading/unloading of vehicles if required and trained to do so.
- Handling cheese.
- Using knives/ cheese wires.
- Working in a high care facility.
- Unwrapping plastic from the cheese.
