Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital is The City of London’s only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew’s NHS Hospital. It is Nuffield Health
- s flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services.

**Our new hospital consists of**:
48 inpatient and day case bedrooms

28 consultation rooms

Three digital operating theatres

Cardiac catheterisation lab

Specialist intensive care beds

Oncology day unit

Endoscopy and minor ops theatre

Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray

A short distance from the hospital is the Nuffield Health Barbican Medical Centre offering a full range of health and wellbeing services, including physiotherapy, private GP’s and Emotional Wellbeing Therapy. The Barbican Fitness and Wellbeing Centre has a fully connected state-of-the-art multi-million-pound gym floor, athletic zone, 25m heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room, dedicated prehab and rehab area and four group exercise studios.

We are looking for a senior physiotherapist with extensive post-graduate experience in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy to lead our outpatients physiotherapy service across two sites: Nuffield Health at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, and The Barbican Medical Centre/Fitness and Wellbeing Centre, both closely located in central London. You will carry a clinical caseload and ensure the highest quality of care is delivered by our outpatients physiotherapy team. You will line manage, support and mentor other members of the physiotherapy team. You will have demonstrable qualities of leadership in areas such as service line optimisation, pathway creation and improvement, innovative problem solving and customer service. You will support the Physiotherapy Manager in ensuring that governance frameworks are adhered to. You will be actively involved in supporting and delivering on CPD events for Nuffield Health’s physiotherapists, GP’s, Consultants and wider stakeholders.

You will at times be required to support inpatient physiotherapy services alongside having availability to contribute to an emergency call out service. You will be given the opportunity to upskill in the clinical areas you are less experienced in with guidance from senior specialist physiotherapists.

**You will need to have**:
A BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council

Proven post qualification clinical experience in MSK / Orthopaedic work to a high standard of competence.

Significant post-qualification experience in physiotherapy delivery and working as a multidisciplinary team

Evidence of clinical and operational leadership
