**Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Schedule and progress all orders to achieve the required deliver dates, taking in to account the availability of resources utilizing all system functionality within UNITY
- To raise works orders according to system outputs and contractual agreements ensuring alignment through leasing with the operations manager
- Troubleshoot common problems which occur during production, such as staff shortages, issues with machinery, “walkthrough” orders, delivery improvements, etc.
- Communicate and elevate any unachievable requirements at the earliest opportunity.
- Work with other members of the Production team to manage production tasks and maximize resource utilization.
- Review production plans to identify and report potential risks to Production team and Management.
- To act as the first point of contact for any queries relating to a sales order or works order progress
- Plan resources (equipment, material, manpower, etc.), via system generated work to lists, to ensure works order due date adherence.
- Develop UNITY system and logistics with SMT to eliminate shortages or excesses.
- Plan and monitor material and works orders movement to ensure continuous operations.
- Review works orders and maintain system to establish priorities and schedules in line with Sales order
- Analyze and report on production processes to continually improve efficiency.
- Provide any necessary information on orders for the Sales department to progress customer requests.
- Manage customer schedule requirements implementing required actions with key focus being time, accuracy and communication
- Liaise with all employees, as necessary, regarding scheduling and deliveries.
- Ensure a consistent and effective progress-chasing system for works orders.
- Ensure all aspects of safety standards are kept at all times within the Production department to comply with H&S procedures and regulations as detailed within the Group H&S policy.
- To conduct Ad Hoc projects and analysis

**Experience**:

- Experience of Production planning/scheduling within a fast-based, small-batch subcontract engineering environment.
- Advanced Excel user.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to interpret Engineering drawings.
- An understanding of MRP and Manufacturing planning techniques.

**Personal Profile**:

- A “can-do” attitude to ensure delivery of the highest both internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-orientated with a high level of attention to detail.
- Fast-paced, astute and proactive.
- Holds the ability to work unsupervised and to perform under pressure.
- Strong at setting objectives and reaching these through careful planning.
- A flexible approach and willingness to work additional hours in order to meet the needs of busy, high-pressure business.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
