**About The Role**:
**About this opportunity**
- Gleeds have an exciting opportunity for a Group Treasurer to join our team in Bristol. This is a newly created role that will report into the Group Head of FP&A. We’re looking for someone to join Gleeds at an exciting time, whilst we’re experiencing significant growth, and establish appropriate corporate governance whilst retaining our core values.**What are we looking for?**

The Group Treasurer role will cover all aspects of treasury, requiring both a strategic and operational view, from preparing and delivering the short and long term liquidity forecasting for the Group (UK and Internationally), to establishing relationships with our bank and managing the debt compliance for our various facilities

The role is primarily about cash and liquidity management encompassing forecasting and ensuring we have the right funds in the right bank accounts at the right time. Whilst the initial focus will be on the UK, in due course it will be about managing liquidity across all of our global businesses, working closely with the International Finance Director and local teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Compile, manage and be accountable for the 13week and 12 month cash forecasts and anticipate challenges within the cash flow
- Support the Finance Leadership Team with the management of all treasury operations (financing optimisation/ cash pooling etc)
- Ensuring the cash flow between companies throughout the Group allows it to operate effectively, and working capital is optimised
- Manage our bank loans and over draft facilities
- Managing the relationships with the bank, completing covenant reporting and forecasting
- Ownership of Intercompany treasury including dividends and loans, inc documentation
- Management and reporting on the GEF Bond Facility, ensuring visibility of drawdowns and available headroom to support Bid’s across the Group
- Assist with the creation of procedures, policies and overall governance implementation
- Adhoc tasks pertaining to the Group budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning process

**About You**:
**Who we’re looking for**:
**Experience / knowledge**:

- ACA qualified with a ‘big 4’ accounting firm
- Educated to degree level
- 3+ years of experience in a high initiative role is essential
- Experience with FX and foreign IR exposures is not necessary

**Skills**:

- Strong technically, able to advise the senior finance team
- Capability to drive change and performance - identify issues and suggest improvements
- Proficient in excel and accounting software programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate independently
- Inquisitive
- Flexible can-do attitude
- Self motivator
- Very strong organisational and time management skills
