We have an opportunity available for a **Sales Consultant - Ecommerce **to join our friendly team based in **The Mailbox, Birmingham**. Joining us on a full time, permanent basis working 37.5 hours per week (evening and weekend work included). **We offer a competitive salary, plus excellent uncapped commission and bonus with on-target earnings of £40k+. As our **Sales Consultant - Ecommerce**, you will work within our Ecommerce team, reporting directly to the Head of Ecommerce.

**Key responsibilities as our Sales Consultant - Ecommerce**:
- Delivery of set sales targets and KPI objectives
- Spotting further sales opportunities
- Recommending alternatives artwork for customers if their original choice is unavailable
- Responding to interest in a proactive and professional way.
- The ability to build relationships quickly without face to face contact
- Contributing to the digital strategy at Castle Galleries, and provide creative input into the ongoing development of our digital offering
- Attending artist events and shows when appropriate
- Contributing to the online marketing of our products, including product launches and special promotions, working alongside our Marketing Team
- Processing sales orders placed on Ecommerce site - sourcing stock where necessary and overseeing the order and fulfilment process
- Commercial awareness of competitor activity
- Effectively communicate; customer and/or product complaints
**Skills and experience required to become our Sales Consultant - Ecommerce**:
- Experienced Sales Consultant (essential)
- Confident and passionate about everything they do
- Target driven and motivated by commissionable sales
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and good understanding of how great service supports sales
- Experience in digital customer service and/ or telesales is preferred, but not essential
- Personality is central to making a success of this role and we specifically look for people who are outgoing, personable, organised and with outstanding communication skills
- Experience of developing successful and long-term relationships with sales clients is highly desirable
- Competent with MS Office and experience of using CRM system/ database
