**About The Role**:
The Trainee Payroll Administrator role offers an exciting opportunity for you to build life-long skills leading to a rewarding career path As a Trainee Payroll Administrator, you’ll be assisting our finance department with the production of our monthly & weekly payrolls along with the variety of elements that make it up.

It doesn’t matter that you’ll be fresh to payroll. You’ll be supported by our Payroll team in Bolton, as well as the wider team, and on top of this you’ll be working towards completing a Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship as part of this role.

We know we work better when we’re together, so all our AOers come into the office Monday to Friday. We collaborate more easily, have continual conversations, we’re more creative, give better support, and all this makes us more motivated and even better at what we do.

**Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing**:
From day one, you’ll be working towards completing a Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship, along with
- Making sure all monthly & weekly pay information is collated and forwarded to our provider within set timelines.
- You'll need to check payslips before BACS processing by accounts.
- You'll help with the distribution of payslips, P45’s and pension documents for all AO’ers
- You'll support the checking and processing of Pension, Child vouchers & salary sacrifice payments.
- We also operate a payroll giving scheme to our AO Smile Foundation and you'll be responsible for reconciling those charity donations.
- Dealing with colleague queries.

**A Few Things About You**:

- Grades 4 to 9 (A to C) in Maths and English
- Super organised with a keen eye for detail
- Top multitasker
- Brilliant communication skills
- Experience in handling sensitive & confidential would be a bonus but not essential
