Freelance Translations Production Co-ordinator #Lux #Fashion needed ASAP. Lux fashion, beauty, lifestyle.

This role is responsible for the production of English to foreign-language content across a number of high profile web sites - currently French, German and Simplified Chinese. It receives briefs from the business and sets priorities for the Translationsteam delivering back content within deadlines required.

**ROLE PURPOSE**
- Responsible for maintaining the smooth running of the translation process from English into French, German, Italian and Simplified Chinese for a range of marketing assets, from receipt of brief through scheduling, translation, design and approvals
- Manage the translation of some medium-sized projects, such as designer launches, seasonal campaigns or printed publications
- Liaise with the English production team to schedule in projects and ensure that enough time is allocated to complete work to the standard of quality required
- Review all briefs to ensure that concise details are captured and that the full scope of requests has been submitted, including specifications and quantities
- Manage approvals and deadlines for the translation team by trafficking assets to ensure that assigned lead times are met
- Collaborate with the production, the translation team and the web production team to coordinate schedules

**Essential Skills & Requirements**:

- The ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Capable of working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven
- A good sense of humour and team player
- Experience of working with, speaking or studying foreign languages desirable (French, German or Chinese preferred but other languages considered)

120 to 150 per day weekly pay via Umbrella. Onsite London 3 days per week with 2 remote days.
