**Merchandiser/ Brand Ambassador (Tools / Equipment) - Garvagh area - Permanent**

Excellent opportunity for a motivated, self-starter with a keen eye for detail and an interest in learning and developing their career within Merchandising for a growing tool and equipment brand distributed throughout the UK and Ireland.

As a **brand new role** within the business, this unique position will include working alongside various departments as you develop the brand while continuing to increase its market share in various regions throughout Ireland and the UK. **You will be responsible for the following**:

- Assist in the planning and development of merchandising strategies alongside the Marketing Manager and Sales Managers
- Analyse merchandising activity within specific stores and customer groups to ensure promotions are producing the expected results and reporting their findings according to certain activity
- Recording and reporting customer feedback to relevant managers
- Recognising and reporting market trends and competitor activity to anticipate product requirements
- Assist in the implementation of new product launches
- Attendance at customer trade show and sales events while assisting the Area Sales Manager
- Any other duties as required by the business

**Criteria**:

- Previous experience in a similar role ie Good understanding of retail selling / background in retail merchandising or similar
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Strong communication skills & organisation skills
- Eye for detail
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK and Ireland as required
- Full, clean UK driving licence
