**Property Underwriter - Colchester/Hybrid - ARDTX886404**

As an Underwriter you will work with a panel of brokers in developing, maintaining, and underwriting profitable, target business in line with prescribed underwriting strategies and business plans across a range of specialist Commercial Property products.

**So, what does the role of a Property Underwriter here involve?**
- This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities._
- Underwrite and administer risks (including new and existing business as well as midterm adjustments) and issue accurate, compliant documentation on behalf of Insurers.
- Demonstrate strong trading and negotiation skills in the attainment of new business.
- Achieve a high quality of underwriting and record keeping, as demonstrated through quality monitoring.
- Achieve any individual targets and contribute towards team/business targets.
- Contribute positively and proactively to business development and any relevant change.

**What experience does a Property Underwriter** **need?**
- Previous property insurance experience, ideally 1 to 2 years.
- That you are working towards or have already achieved an appropriate technical/professional qualification.
- IT Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point. Experience of Acturis would also be advantageous
