**Responsibilities**
- **Brand Identity Development**
- Help develop comprehensive and thorough brand guidelines to ensure the consistent implementation of the identity.
- Work alongside the wider creative team to ensure the identity is consistently implemented across all channels and mediums.
- **Leadership**
- Act as a voice of authority and experience amongst the team, helping to develop and improve the more junior members.
- Help to check work created by the other members of the team, as well as offer direction on how to improve it.
- Help to cultivate and encourage a more open environment when it comes to sharing and providing feedback to other members on the team.
- Help to ensure all aforementioned guidelines and identities are followed throughout the team.
- **Design Execution**
- Produce outstanding design work on campaigns for some of the industry’s top brands, including Nike, adidas, Asics, New Balance, On Running and more, as well as in-house branded campaigns.
- Produce work which fits within the supplied brand guidelines and identities of the brands we sell, while still maintaining our own distinctive identity.
- Work on larger scale campaigns, such as Black Friday, Christmas and seasonal sales, which will require multiple forms of output across all channels, while still fitting within one defined creative direction.
- Take on ad-hoc briefs including presentations, flyers and inserts, magazines and advertisements.
- **Wider team collaboration**
- Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team to better understand campaign objectives and goals, in order to more effectively translate them into effective and productive outputs.
- Work alongside the Design Manager to help develop and implement department-wide process changes which increase overall efficiency for all involved parties.

**About you**:

- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, ideally within a retail environment
- A creative with a passion for design
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Experience in the development and implementation of brand guidelines
- A strong knowledge and understanding of UX/UI principals
- A strong knowledge of design principals, typography, colour theory and composition
- Excellent proficiency within the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and XD
- Experience with Figma, InDesign and After Effects are desired but not essential
- Experience with CMS systems such as Prismic are desired but not essential
- Excellent time management skills; able to balance your time between several concurrent projects
- An ability to use your own initiative and interpretation; able to create final outputs far exceeding supplied information and direction
- Keen eye for detail
- Degree or similar qualification in a design area is preferred but not essential

- Up to £32,000pa based on experience
