**Job Opportunity: Sample Collector / Phlebotomist**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Blood Collection**: Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for laboratory testing, ensuring proper techniques and maintaining patient comfort.
- **Sample Handling**: Properly label, handle, and store collected samples to ensure accurate testing and maintain sample integrity.
- **Patient Interaction**: Establish rapport with patients, explain procedures, alleviate any concerns, and provide a positive patient experience.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of collected samples, patient information, and any complications or concerns.
- **Safety and Infection Control**: Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols, ensuring the safety of both patients and healthcare staff.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Phlebotomy Certification**: Hold a valid phlebotomy certification or relevant training, demonstrating proficiency in blood collection techniques.
- **Patient-Focused**: Display a compassionate and patient-centered approach, ensuring patient comfort throughout the collection process.
- **Effective Communication**: Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain procedures and address patient questions.
- **Attention to Detail**: Pay meticulous attention to labeling, documentation, and proper sample handling.
- **Infection Control**: Familiarity with infection control practices and the ability to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
- **Professionalism**: Represent the organization with professionalism, maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
