**Pricing Analyst**

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Theale, Berkshire

**Have you got previous experience analysing financial data and are advanced in Excel?**

**Our client based in Theale, Berkshire are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to join their Financial Modelling and Analysis team.**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintaining existing Excel based templates and regularly updating them
- Analyse financial data and create Financial Models for decision support
- Aid in Financial Reporting of Managed Service Contracts both internally and externally
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Reviewing Commercial performance of new and existing contracts
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
- Data analysis and being able to spot trends in data and drawing meaningful conclusions
- Resources/decision making authority
- All work to be checked and signed off - Peer Reviewing in the Modelling Team

**Key Accountabilities**
- To the Financial Modelling Team’s ‘internal customers
- Team player within the Financial Modelling Team - support others

**Performance Indicators**
- Must be Excel proficient - Advance Excel user (comfortable with Excel Formulas and Functions and working with Financial Models)
- Comfortable around Excel spreadsheet creation, manipulation (and any other modelling tools)
- Disciplined and analytical approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact at all levels
- Works in a structured and methodical manner, deadline oriented
- Continually seeks improved and more efficient methods of working
- Pro-active self-starter
- Good team player
- Works well in a pressured environment
- Confident and personable nature

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Advanced Excel and Data analysis (Comfortable with lookups, Index Match, Pivot tables, Sumifs, Creating Charts etc.)
- At least 5 years finance and general business experience
- Numerical, mathematical & logical mind
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Good record keeping
- Good presentation skills

**Salary and Benefits**
- £35,00 to £40,000 per annum
- Royal London Pension Scheme - 3% EE contribution and 5% ER contribution
- Death in Service Scheme after 6-month probation - 4 times salary

25 days annual leave + bank holidays
