**Welder - MIG**
- **Hourly rate: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour depending upon experience**:

- **Hours: 40-hour week - Days - Mon-Fri**:

- **Overtime: Available (1.5 x hourly rate)**

My client is recruiting a Welder to work in their high-quality factory.

The role involves batch production of welded steel and stainless steel components. These parts are used in the assembly of manual and powered manual handling machines.

**Main purpose of role**:

- Supply our customers with ‘best-in-class’ manual handling products.
- Assist to increase the level of output from our fabrication/welding department.
- Communicate with team members and add to a strong dynamic team.

**Key tasks and skills**:

- Fabricate batches of welded steel (MIG) and stainless steel (TIG) components at the direction of the department supervisor.
- Produce batches of welded components with a high attention to detail ensuring parts match the engineering drawings provided.
- Ability to read technical drawings and weld symbols.
- Where required prepare metal for fabrication (i.e. metal cutting, drilling and folding).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
