**Position Available: Overseas On-Call Support Therapist (Australian Overnight Shift)**

**About the Role**:
We're seeking a qualified counselling therapist to join us in a contractual role, providing on-call phone support and welfare checks for our Australian clients during their overnight hours. This role entails covering the Australian overnight shift from the UK daytime, Monday to Friday, as well as being on-call on weekends.

Responsibilities include conducting brief, scheduled welfare checks lasting 10-20 minutes for 20-25 clients. These checks assess mental, emotional, and physical well-being, offering peace of mind and reassurance to clients, especially during times of anxiety or overwhelm.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Overnight Welfare Checks**: Perform welfare checks during Australian overnight hours via phone calls and text messages, Monday to Friday (Mornings only)
- **On-Call Assistance**: Be available to provide support and assistance to clients calling the clinic during Australian overnight hours through the week + Saturdays and Sundays.
- **Online Platform Collaboration**: Collaborate with online platforms for scheduling calls and offering clients resources from our library.
- **Continuous Learning**: Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma and anxiety therapy.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain precise and confidential client records while adhering to ethical guidelines.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Counseling Qualification**: Relevant counseling qualification and registration with a recognized governing body.
- **Compassionate**: Dedicated to making a positive difference in people's lives.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent over-the-phone communication skills.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in trauma & anxiety therapy or related field.
- **Relationship Building**: Ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships with diverse clients.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong time management and organizational skills.
- **Adaptability**: Proactive and quick-thinking, capable of adapting to different client needs.

Pay: £10.00-£40.00 per hour
