The fellow will also be expected to participate in research, in keeping with the strong academic profile of the department and the University of Birmingham. Applicants are expected to have obtained the FRCS ORL-HNS (or equivalent) and hold or about to be awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training (or equivalent) in Otolaryngology. The post holder will have a formal monthly meeting with a supervisor to monitor progress and to ensure appropriate support and opportunities are being given. The post holder will also be allocated sessions for CPD for research and audit activities.
