**Reporting to**:Mould shop and Ducting Manager
**Reports**:25-35 Machine Operators
**Hours of work**:
Monday 8am
- 6pm
Tuesday - Thursday 7am - 6pm
Friday 7am-1pm

**Manrose, **part of Volution Ventilation UK, trades with all major UK electrical wholesalers. Manrose manufactures a full range of domestic extractor fans, ducting and ventilation accessories. We also cover electric heating with panel heaters and hand driers in keeping with the heating and ventilation market.

**Job Profile**:
We are growing, and are currently seeking an experienced Production Floor Supervisor (Plastic Injection Moulding) to strengthen our team.

Your role will be to run the shift, managing the workload and the supervision and allocation of operators. This role will play a key part of the organisation by maintaining and improving production levels and quality.

**As a Production Floor Supervisor your key responsibilities will include**:

- Leading, motivating, supervising, and training all Machine Operators.
- Ensure the factory throughput is maintained to achieve daily output numbers, highlighting and /or removing obstacles that may impede the required output.
- Manage disciplinary matters alongside the management team.
- Work with Management team to ensure servicing is up to date using external contractors.
- Ensure in house routine maintenance is adhered to by operators and report faults encountered to allow timely repairs.
- Ensure the quality control checks required by the process are adhered to and the paperwork correctly completed.
- Maintain a safe working environment fulfilling Health & Safety requirements, and to maintain housekeeping to standards set by management.
- Carry out detailed hand over procedure giving all necessary information to on coming supervisor

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising a large team, preferably in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Previous Plastic Injection Moulding experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Be health, safety, and quality focused
- Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and leads by example
- Previous experience operating machinery
- First Aid training is desirable
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Excellent command of English - Verbal and Written
- Ability to work under pressure
