**Responsibilities WHAT YOULL DO**: As a consultant haematologist with an interest in acute leukaemia and stem cell transplantation you will have responsibility for the provision of medical management for patients receiving therapy for acute leukaemia including CAR-T and blood and marrow transplantation, practicing autonomously as a core member of the multi-disciplinary team. You will work closely with all members of the BMT and haematology specialist teams. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in transplant and cellular therapy and contribute to the development of the service. You will work closely with the WBMT&CT Clinical Program Director and other consultants, junior medical and nursing colleagues within haematology, Cancer Care, and the wider MDT including regional colleagues.

**The post-holder will take part in**: Management of allogeneic transplant patients in the outpatient setting. Inpatient attending on a 1:5 basis covering acute leukaemia, transplant and cellular therapies, with support from subspecialty colleagues. Discussion of cases as appropriate at the allogeneic transplant planning meetings and CAR-T MDT. Active involvement with the development of the WBMT service.
