Store Supevisor

The Recruitment Crowd have recently partnered with a market-leading retailer based in Clacton-on-Sea. We are looking for an experienced Retail Supervisor to join the team.

Hours: Minimum of 16 hours per week (opportunity for more) across 5 days per week (Saturdays will be included), 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: £10.72 per hour

The Role
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Lead and motivate a team of retail associates, providing guidance and support as needed
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the management team to ensure optimal stock availability
- Assist customers with their inquiries, resolve any issues, and provide an exceptional shopping experience
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are met, including product placement and store cleanliness
- Implement and enforce loss prevention measures to minimize theft and maintain store security
- Generate sales reports, analyse performance metrics, and recommend strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute promotional activities and sales events
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Ideally possess managerial experience with another value retailer
- Demonstrate the ability to establish an outstanding work and shopping atmosphere
- Have a proven history of working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail setting
- Showcase exceptional customer service abilities
