Skilled Cabinet Maker

**Custom Consoles** manufacture high quality furniture for a variety of industries such as Broadcast, Security, Air Traffic Control, Process Control and Network Monitoring.
The successful applicant will be required to fulfill a variety of roles within the company including woodwork, wood finishing, assembly, spraying and general workshop duties.

An understanding of being able to work from manufacturing drawings would be an advantage but not essential. Being familiar with furniture carcass construction would also be an advantage. Knowledge and experience operating woodworking machines is required as this is vital in carrying out day to day tasks.

You must have an eye for detail and a flexible approach is essential.

Lifting is required on a daily basis so you must be physically fit for the job.

You will be working alongside a small dedicated team in a workshop environment.

You will be required to drive the company van for deliveries/installations and so a clean driving license and being well presented is a must.

Working hours: 43hrs per week. Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:45pm, Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

There will be a 3 month probation period leading to a permanent contract.

Due to the expected number of applicants if you do not hear from us then you have been unsuccessful.

**Salary**: £9.00-£13.00 per hour

- Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
