**We have an excellent opportunity within Precision Tube & Laser Ltd for someone looking to join a rapidly growing company, working in a varied and interesting role as a Driver/Labourer.**

**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Driving**: You will hold a full clean driving licence and will be responsible for delivery of materials to and from site. Forklift truck licence would be advantageous. Ideally, needs to be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
- **Yard Management**: Assist and help and the organisation and maintenance of the yard, ensuring all materials and equipment are organised and easily accessible.
- **Material Handling**: Assist in the loading and unloading of materials / orders and equipment for transportation to and from client sites and business premises.
- **Support Fabrication Teams**: Provide on-site support to fabrication teams where required to assist in day-to-day operations.
- **Yard Safety**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the yard, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Requirements**:

- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to handle and lift heavy materials, work outdoors, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- **Organisational Skills**: Strong organisational skills to manage and maintain an efficient yard layout and inventory system.
- **Team Player**: Capable of working collaboratively with fabrication teams and other yard personnel and management team members.
- **Basic Construction Knowledge**: Some understanding of construction processes is advantageous.
- **Punctuality**: Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday - 7am - 5pm

Pay: Up to £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 47.5 per week
