Sugarplum Tearoom is a small business in Rhuthun, LL15 1TN. We are professional, agile, fast-paced, and our goal is to to hire someone to work in our busy tea room over Christmas and to cover staff sickness and holidays..

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Process payments and provide accurate change

**Skills**:

- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety and preparation
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to upsell menu items and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and delivery

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Barista: 1 year (preferred)
