A fantastic opportunity has arisen on the Maternity Unit at Royal Oldham Hospital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Housekeeper to provide efficient support.

The Maternity unit is a 56 bedded unit providing antenatal intrapartum and postnatal care to the diverse population of Oldham and the surrounding areas.

You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise across multi agencies and multi-disciplinary departments.

Experience of working with the general public is essential.

The ability to work independently and adapt to an environment of changing priorities is an essential component to consistently facilitate a patient focused approached.

**Main duties of the job**:
We require a well-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work as the Housekeepers across the maternity unit.

This role includes the undertaking of daily organisation, maintaining stock levels, providing meals to the patients and cleanliness of the environment.

You will be working with a fantastic and supportive team who will be happy to assist you as settle within the team. Regular feedback and one-to-one will be provided by your manager to ensure that you stay happy in your job.

Duties include stocking up, maintaining a clean clutter free environment maintenance of equipment, also including general housekeeping of the unit.

It is essential that you are able to work in an orderly and systematic manner, possess good literacy, IT, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.

You should have a caring attitude, as well as the ability to work effectively under direction as part of a multidisciplinary team.
