Salary £21,189 - £21,968 per annum (plus enhancements for weekends) | Permanent, Part time, 20.5 hours per week | Haslingden Library, Rossendale | Pro Rata

**We are currently recruiting **

A Library Assistant to work at Haslingden Library. This is a permanent role, and you will work an average of 20.5 hours per week which will include some evenings and weekends, over a two-week rota (see attached rota)

**Your new role **

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused and digitally savvy individual to work within our team. Our ideal person will be welcoming and friendly, have a love for reading and be passionate about sharing this. You will have excellent communication and digital skills, be able to work with a range of partners and volunteers and be able to deliver a customer-focused service.

Sometimes, you will need to work at other locations and the role may involve some lone working.
