Parts Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Supervisor to join our branch in Witham.

** EXCELLENT SALARY PACKAGE **

Salary £30,000.00 - £32,000.00 pa basic

Bonus and Overtime also available.

** SHIFTS AVAILABLE **

07:00am - 16:30pm - Monday to Friday

08:00am - 13:00pm - 1 in 3 Saturdays

**What you will do**
- Control of parts staff
- Staff welfare/safety
- Deputise in Manager’s absence
- Control parts administration ensuring work in progress is kept to a minimum and that invoices are processed immediately following job completion.
- Oversee parts operation and ensure full range of skills is passed on to all front counter staff, including stock ordering and reporting procedures.
- Supplier interface
- Production of stock orders
- Control of VOR orders
- Control stock holding and parts purchasing to agreed parameters.
- Housekeeping of department and surrounding areas.
- Become fully conversant with all Aftersales procedures and ensure that these are maintained in accordance with the Company procedures manual.
- Inter-departmental liaison
- Workshop parts supply
- Become fully conversant with all computerised systems
- Van routing
- Van maintenance schedule
- Customer liaison
- Issue of credit notes where necessary
- Achievement of parts sales targets and department budget
