The Role
The role is for an experienced Quality Technician for a leading food packaging manufacturer. You will be responsible for drawing control and QC quality testing.
- Take responsibility for decisions around releasing product to customers and guide production operators in quality based decision making
- Management of retained samples and technical administration of data
- Work closely with wider quality team to communicate details of failures and assist in investigations
- Actively participate in the internal audit process
- Carry out the calibration of testing equipment
- Raise certificates of analysis (CoA) and communicate results with customer
- Assist with general quality & technical enquires
- Work with Operations and Planning teams to aid the efficient running of production

You will have 3+ years of exposure in a QC position in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience within a scientific, laboratory or QC testing environment preferred
- Experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience carrying out audits and process checks beneficial but not expected
- Ability to assist in quality investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
