**Job description**
We require a Powder coater to work in our busy manufacturing plant, primarily painting structural steels including staircases and mezzanine floor systems as well as general steel fabrication items.
**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain the quality of powder-coated products, promptly addressing imperfections.
- Safely handle and store powder coating materials, following proper procedures for storage, mixing, and disposal.
- Perform basic routine maintenance on powder coating equipment to ensure optimal functionality, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols related to powder coating processes, prioritising a safe working environment.
- Packaging of painted goods ready for dispatch
- Some delivery duties in company vehicles (Ideal but not essential)
**What we’ll need from you**
- Ideally previous experience in powder coating within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality finishes.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually to meet customer expectations.

- High accuracy with keen attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Methodical work ethic, concentration, and an understanding of the coatings industry
This is a very busy department, so you will need to be hard working, organised, reliable, conscientious and be able to work as part of a team or individually. Previous experience would be a definite advantage, however additional training with our bespoke systems will be provided.

**Salary**: £12 - £13 per hour dependent on experience
