**The Role**

Based at our State of the Art Accident Repair Centre in Glasgow you will join our fast paced and dynamic team. As part of your role you will be responsible for carrying out a range of Mechanical Repair and Strip Fitting work on all makes of vehicles.

You will be someone who thrives under pressure whilst maintaining a calm and organised demeanour. You will be confident and outgoing and have excellent team working and communication skills. Experience working within a busy automotive body shop is essential.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- To Ensure the Highest Standard of Work is Carried out to the Manufacturer’s Specification, in a Timely and Productive Manner.
- Stripping Out all Parts from the Vehicle Prior to Repairs.
- Checking all Parts Removed and Reporting Extra Parts Needed.
- Air Conditioning Re Gas.
- Check and Aligning Steering Geometry.
- Lighting Alignment.
- Refitting all Parts, Checking Locks, Lights and Electrics for Correct Operation.
- Removing & Refitting of Major Components (Engine, Transmission, Suspension.
- SRS Replacement.
- Electrical Vehicle Shutdown.
- Completing Quality Check Sheets.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Experience in a similar role with a proven track record and keen eye for quality and attention to detail.
- Ideally gained ATA certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and well under pressure.
- Aircon Certification Advantageous.
- EV Certification Advantageous.
- ADAS Calibration Experience Advantageous.
- VAG, Ford, BMW/MINI, Mercedes-Benz Experience beneficial.

**Salary**: £15.00 per hour
