A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, caring and organised person to join the Eye Day Case Unit team as a Ward Clerk. We're looking for a strong communicator, and a problem-solver, who can assist with day to day running of the Eye Day Case Unit. The post-holder will work within the nursing team and provide Clerical support to Clinical staff based on the unit. The ward clerk may also function, where necessary, as the EDCU
Receptionist.

You will be expected to provide a range of Ward Clerk duties.

You will need to be self-disciplined, motivated and be empathetic to all those you come into contact with. It is essential that you can prioritise your own workload, possess sound communication skills, work as part of a team, but also exercise initiative within set parameters.

We are looking for someone that adopts the Trust's principles and values, and can demonstrate where they use these values in their motivations and drivers - in particular, their compassion, willingness to put the welfare of others above their own interests, and personal accountability. The post holder must also be computer literate to a basic level.
