FAMILY CO-ORDINATOR

**£25,293 - £27,500 Full Time**

Home-Start Lorn is looking to recruit a new Family Co-ordinator.

Home-Start Lorn has been supporting families with young children throughout the whole of the Oban and North Argyll area, including the outlying villages since 1988 and on the Isle of Mull since 2012. Through our home-visiting volunteers, one to one support and group work, we offer a unique service providing practical and emotional support to parents/carers with one or more children under 5 years old.Our strategic goal is to ensure that every family, with a child under 5 years of age, can utilise the support we provide, so as to give their children the best possible start in life.

Our aim is to support parents to develop strong relationships with their children and to fully engage with their communities and local services.

We are looking to recruit a Family Co-ordinator to work with families and to support them during the first, vitally important, 1001 days of a child’s life and beyond. We aim at supporting the family as a whole, helping them to build a support network and providing direct support to meet their identified needs.

The post also involves assisting the scheme manager in co-ordinating our team of volunteers, recruiting, training and supporting volunteers on their volunteering journey.
