Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. As a Youth Worker, you will be responsible for providing support, guidance, and mentorship to children and adolescents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement educational and recreational activities for children and adolescents
- Provide individualized support and mentorship to youth
- Assist in creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate programs and events
- Monitor and supervise youth during activities, ensuring their safety at all times
- Act as a positive role model, promoting positive behavior and values
- Assist with homework help and educational support
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding the progress of their child

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children or youth in a professional setting
- Knowledge of special education principles and techniques
- Strong mentoring and counseling skills
- Ability to educate and engage youth in various activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children from diverse backgrounds

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to £20.83 per hour
