- **Responsibilities**:_
- Supervise and manage the cleaning staff to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard
- Carry out regular checks on all sites in the area to ensure that they are maintained to the required standard
- Ensure that cleaning equipment and materials are properly maintained and used correctly
- Provide cover for cleaning staff where needed
- Carry out training for new staff as required
- Manage and maintain stocks of cleaning supplies
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times
- Maintain good relationships with clients and deal with any queries or complaints in a professional and efficient manner
- Attend regular meetings with the Cleaning Manager to discuss performance and suggest improvements
- **Requirements**:_
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work fixed shift hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Reliable and punctual with good time-management skills
- Clean driving licence and access to own transport
