**The Law Practice**
- **Legal firm regulated by SRA.**:

- **Based in the heart of East London. Our core practise areas include Conveyancing, Immigration, Housing, Personal Injury, Landlord & Tenant, Crime & Prison, Family, Wills & Probate, Employment** **and Civil Litigation.**

**The Position**
- **Legal firm regulated by SRA a quiet and focussed small office**

**Role to include but not be limited to**:

- **Time recording and preparation of bills**:

- **Quantifying legal costs for legal cases funded by the LAA.**:

- **Submitting claims and enquiry responses to LAA on their billing platforms**:

- **Basic office administrative work**:

- **Booking keeping including maintaining and verifying accounts.**:

- **Using office case management systems -XERO, LEAP, CLIO.**

**IMPORTANT**

**Desired skills**

4-9 grades English and maths GCSE's
- Confident with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
- Good attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm’s in-house systems where training will be given
- Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills
- Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
- The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner
- Good organisational skills
- Good client care skills

- Willingness to take on challenges and to push oneself further
- Motivated and keen to learn new skills

**You will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.**
- This Apprenticeship will involve off the job training.
- You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role.
- The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months.
- This course has multiple start dates throughout the year
