We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Holder to join us here at our Poundstretcher Store in Newtown on Pool Road

About the Role:
Are you looking to step in and build your skills within Retail Management? If so then our Key Holder position is the perfect choice for you Reporting directly to the Store Manager. Initially you will be offered a 4 hour Contract but with high levels of overtime available you will have more than enough time to build and develop your Management skills

Offering support to the Management Team in Store you will help to lead, encourage and motivate the Team to meet Store Targets, deliver on Company Strategies and be responsible for running shifts in the absence of the Store Manager. You will learn how to open and close a Store, lead a Team, push to deliver on KPIs and objectives as well as striving to deliver the best possible Customer experience for all those that shop with us.

You will lead by example and will do a bit of everything from Working Stock, looking after paperwork, cashing up, jumping on the tills, opening and or closing the store are just some of the duties of the role

About You:
Ideally you will be an all rounder, somebody who is quick on their feet as well as when faced with situations that require problem solving. Energetic and motivated you will have a passion for the shop floor with an emphasis on detail But most importantly you will be adaptable and eager to learn in addition to being fully flexible.
