As an Education Directorate we are continually looking at how we can support widening participation with our local population. As part of this support our Resuscitation Team is looking for a highly motivated, well organised and innovative Band 4 Education Facilitation Trainer

The post offers an excellent opportunity for both personal and professional development. You will also become an integral part of the Resuscitation Service supporting the delivery of education and the direct contribution to equipment audits.

This post will be located at the Horizon Centre, Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust.

The overall purpose of the job is to provide support and assistance with the delivery of a number of education and training programmes, primarily resuscitation and potentially other mandatory or clinical training that may be required.

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of training to multi-professional teams in both a classroom capacity and in-situ.

We are looking for a dynamic, flexible professional individual to join the Resuscitation Service. This exciting role involves contribution and duties from a wide range of clinical and administrative genre.

Key skill sets and experience include;
- Experience teaching and coaching others
- knowledge and understanding of Resuscitation and skills sets involved
- Clinical experience and background at HCA level or equivalent
- Knowledge of and experience of using clinical equipment
- Experience of equipment and general audits

- The primary purpose is to deliver resuscitation training/assessments to multi-professional teams
- Contribute to Mask Fit testing both as a test conductor and in the contribution to service maintenance
- Contribute to the delivery of First aid at work training including teaching, assessment and course delivery
- Run specific computer systems that control simulated manikins
- Assist with basic life support training and various courses as specified as relevant by Resuscitation Council UK
