- Job Title: RAD Cleaning Technician
- Job Location: Derby
- Hourly Rate: £11.95 Paye £14.97 Umb
- Hours Per Week: Average 44 hours per week
- Shifts: 4 on 4 off Nights
- Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days per years
- Duration: Ongoing
- Position Summary:

- To begin with you’ll be expected to complete a week’s training (with pay), on the role and site health and safety. Once the training is completed you’ll be placed on nights in a team cleaning the exterior of trains on the depot in Derby.
- The position is based on a busy Rail depot and all applicants would be expected to complete the following:
- Physical cleaning the exterior of the Trains including the roof
- Complete cleaning with various chemicals and cleaning liquids
- Manual labour
- Work within a safety critical environment
- Report any maintenance for fleets to go out into service at required standard
- Underframe cleaning
- Oxal cleaning on exterior for Arrow Solutions promotion
- Diversity training
- Manual handling
- Health and safety
- Chemical handling (COSHH regulations)- PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots)
