Position to be filled: PPM Coordinator

Based: Wood View Learning Community Campus

Line Manager: Assistance Account Manager

Pay rate: £13.10

**Overview**:
The PPM coordinator will be directly responsible to the Assistant Account Manager for the efficient and effective management and operation of the School PPM program. All PPM compliance within her/his area of expertise undertaken at the schools is managed in accordance with both Mitie and wider H&S legislation

**Key Deliverable**:
Key Deliverables
- Plan the annual PPM works program to ensure total statutory/mandatory compliance of all disciplines'
- Preparation of subcontract documentation for works & specialist services in accordance with the Company's Business Process Model and Health & Safety Manual.
- To liaise closely with the Assistant Account Manager & the Project Coordinator when planning works. Consideration of the school's programme and safeguarding policies must be factored in.
- Consider competitive tender process when issuing PPM works and subsequent remedial works.
- Primary responsibility of recording and evidencing PPM compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Supporting role ensuring reactive works generated through the help desk are reacted to and /or completed within the correct contractual time periods. Also ensuring that issues falling outside of contractual timescales are escalated with suitable rectification/mitigation plans and discussed with the Assistant Account Manager (AAM)
- Liaise with the Project coordinator to facilitate site visits by contractors undertaking PPM work

(b) More generally
- As part of the Administration team ensure effective operation of the helpdesk, reporting, purchase ledger and general associated duties.
- To ensure that all works under your control are managed and lead in accordance with good industry practice and Mitie procedures and policies.
- Understanding of financial processes

- Should be confident in one's own judgement and possess the stature and personal qualities necessary to establish rapid credibility at all levels in the internal client population, with the tenacity to work resolutely in pursuit of objectives.
- Must be an effective and principled communicator, able to develop and present well - reasoned arguments and be prepared to support these effectively.
- Should be able to offer creative and practical solutions, be forward thinking and perceptive and be alive to real time needs and issues.
- They will have had a working knowledge and the practical experience in the delivery of similar services.
- They will have experience in the preparation of specifications for facilities works and some knowledge of conditions of contract.
- They will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of supervising of subcontractors on site.
- Medically fit to undertake the duties.
- They will possess a demonstrable awareness of Customer Care, Quality Assurance, Health and Safety and demonstrate an ability to work to tight budgets and programmes.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills, orally and written, to communicated across all levels. Good understanding of XL and office 2010
- Full driving licence preferred
- Achieve enhanced DBS - which we will process for you
