Pe Mentor

Are you an experienced sports coach with excellent knowledge of primary PE teaching? uSports are looking for a PE Mentor who will be able to work in our partnered schools to upskill and mentor primary school teachers to deliver higher quality PE lessons and to raise the profile of sport in these settings.

Sessions will take place on Tuesday's and Thursday's and you must be comfortable upskilling teachers in a range of sports including gymnastics and dance.

Please note, this is a self-employed role.

As a PE Mentor you will need to have experience leading PE lessons to classes of 30 children with positive outcomes and effective behaviour management. You should have a passion for PE and sport and be keen to share both your experience and enthusiasm with teachers to help them develop.

You will be supported by our Schools Manager who will provide you with resources and guidance on how to best upskill and support the teachers under your supervision.

In addition to working as a PE mentor you may also be delivering sessions directly to children across a range of settings including:

- Primary Schools
- SEN Schools
- Nurseries and Pre-Schools
- Holiday Camps
- Community Sessions

**Salary**: £105.00-£126.00 per day

- Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Coaches are briefed on our 'Coaching During COVID' policy and are asked to take regular lateral flow tests to protect our coaches and the children we work with.

**Experience**:

- sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 1 qualification in any NGB sport (preferred)
- driving licence and access to a car (preferred)
