**Self-employed Commercial Mortgage Broker**

**Remuneration**

This position is self-employed and commission based. You will have the opportunity to earn a highly competitive commission on each successfully closed commercial mortgage deal. Your earning potential is uncapped, providing ample opportunities for financial growth and success.

**Mortgage Broker Responsibilities**
- Meet with potential applicants and buyers to determine each client’s specific lending requirements
- Educate clients on various loan products, funding sources, buying or refinance process and lending guidelines
- Gather documents such as applicants credit history, income and employment verification, assets and liabilities, and background check to determine creditworthiness
- Source competitive mortgage products and rates, and negotiate terms with various lenders to find the ideal product and lender for the applicant
- Collaborate with all parties to ensure a smooth transaction. All parties, including case managers, estate agents, lenders underwriting departments, surveyors, solicitors and any other mortgage professionals
- Build referral relationships with real estate professionals and relationships with mortgage lenders, bankers, maintain current lending rate cards and stay up to date with mortgage industry trends

**Mortgage Broker Requirements**
- You should have previous experience as a Commercial mortgage broker
- Have a business plan and/or network of connections to generate business from
- Possess a strong understanding of mortgage products and full loan process
- Advanced computer skills including CRM software
- CeMAP or equivalent mortgage qualification is preferred but not essential
- Exceptional communication skills, time management and independently resourceful

In order for both Word On The Street and your business to grow, the role will also include a monthly sales and reports meeting to discuss performance, sales strategy and future growth opportunities.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
